LATIN COURSE I (CAMBRIDGE) (APRIL – JUNE 2020)
TUTOR: Dr. JOHN WHELPTON

The textbook for this course, Cambridge Latin Course, is by far the most popular in the UK and is used by over 90% of schools teaching Latin as well as by many adult learners. Book 1 should arrive in about a week’s time and will cost $180. In the meantime the online version can be consulted on the Cambridge suite:  https://www.clc.cambridgescp.com/sites/www.cambridgescp.com/files/legacy_root_files/clc/webbooks/book1/index.html?p=1
The course is starting on-line because of the current Covid-19 situation but, once the books have arrived, you will be able either to collect them at once from Dante or wait until face-to-face group classes resume

You will be supplied with other materials, including Powerpoints and recordings of the passages.. Please note that these are copyright materials and should not be passed on to anybody else.
The reading passages in the book are available on-line with hyper-linked glosses for all the vocabulary on the CLC site at: http://www.clc.cambridgescp.com/books/book-i
